PRIMARY
- September 13, 2022
Voter Registration Deadline
- May 31, 2022 - Deadline to change your party affiliation prior to primary election.
- September 13, 2022 - New Hampshire allows same-day voter registration on Election Day.
Ballot Request Deadlines:
- September 12, 2022 at 5 p.m. - Deadline to return an absentee ballot request application.
Ballot Return Deadlines:
- September 12, 2022 at 5 p.m. - Deadline to hand-deliver a completed absentee ballot to your city or town clerk.
- September 13, 2022 at 5 p.m. - Deadline to return a completed absentee ballot by mail.
GENERAL
- November 8, 2022

- November 8, 2022 - New Hampshire allows same-day voter registration on Election Day.

- November 7, 2022 at 5 p.m. - Deadline to return an absentee ballot request application.
Ballot Return Deadlines:
- November 7, 2022 at 5 p.m. - Deadline to hand-deliver a completed absentee ballot to your city or town clerk.
- November 8, 2022 at 5 p.m. - Deadline to return a completed absentee ballot by mail.
Absentee ballots are only available to certain residents - see if you match the criteria outlined here. Registered voters in New Hampshire who want to vote by absentee ballot this fall should submit an absentee ballot application to their local county clerk as early as possible.

IV. WHERE TO VOTE
Polling Location:
- School, firehouse or community center, use the New Hampshire Secretary of State's Voter Information Lookup to find where to cast your ballot.

V. WHAT TO TAKE TO THE POLLS
Voter ID Laws:
- New Hampshire does not require identification to vote, unless you are registering that same day.
Accepted Credentials:

Don't have a valid ID?
- If you do not have a valid ID, voters may sign an affidavit and vote a regular ballot.
