GENERAL
- November 8, 2022
Voter Registration Deadline
- October 21, 2022 - Deadline to register to vote online or postmarked by this date for mail delivery.
Absentee Ballots
Absentee Request Deadlines:
- October 28, 2022 - Final day to request and return a completed absentee ballot application.
Absentee Return Deadlines:
- November 8, 2022 - Absentee ballots must be returned (via mail or in person) by 8 p.m. CT on Election Day.
Registered voters in Nebraska who want to vote by absentee ballot this fall should submit an absentee ballot application to their county election office as soon as possible.

Voter ID Laws:
- Nebraska only requires identification from first-time voters, who registered by mail.
Accepted Credentials:

Don't have a valid ID?
- Once you have registered to vote, no further voter ID is required to vote in Nebraska except for some first time voters.
