II. KNOW THE DATES
GENERAL
- November 8, 2022
Voter Registration Deadline
- October 11, 2022 - Deadline to register to vote online by 4 p.m. and in person by end of day. Mail in voter registration can be postmarked by this date.
Ballot Request Deadlines:
- October 25, 2022 - Last day to request and return a completed absentee ballot application.
Ballot Return Deadlines:
- November 8, 2022 - Absentee ballots (via mail or in person) must be received by 6 p.m.
Registered voters in Kentucky who want to vote by absentee ballot this fall should submit an absentee ballot application to their local county clerk as early as possible.

V. WHAT TO TAKE TO THE POLLS
Voter ID Laws:
- Kentucky requires photo identification if the voter isn't personally known by precinct officials.
Accepted Credentials:
