II. KNOW THE DATES
GENERAL
- November 8, 2022
Voter Registration Deadline
- October 14, 2022 - Deadline to register to vote online by midnight, paper applications to the county clerk's office by 5 p.m., or postmarked by this date for mail delivery.
Ballot Request Deadlines:
- October 28, 2022 - Final day to request and return a completed absentee ballot application by 5 p.m.
Ballot Return Deadlines:
- November 8, 2022 - Absentee ballots (via mail or in person) must be received by 8 p.m.
Registered voters in Idaho who want to vote by absentee ballot this fall should submit an absentee ballot application to their local county clerk as soon as possible.

IV. WHERE TO VOTE
Polling Location:
- School, firehouse or community center, this simple form will tell you where to go to cast your ballot.

V. WHAT TO TAKE TO THE POLLS
Voter ID Laws:
- Idaho requires photo identification to vote, or you have to sign a Personal Identification Affidavit.
Accepted Credentials:
- Here is the list of accepted credentials.
- Contact your county clerk or polling place for an acceptable list of options.
Don't have a valid ID?
- Voters without valid ID will be given the option of signing the Personal Identification Affidavit in order to cast a ballot.
