PRIMARY
- August 16, 2022.
Voter Registration Deadline
- July 17, 2022 - Deadline to register to vote online or postmarked by this day for mail delivery.
Ballot Request Deadlines:
- August 6, 2022 - Final day to request and return a completed absentee ballot by mail.
Ballot Return Deadlines:
- August 16, 2022 - In person absentee ballots must be received by 8 p.m. Mail-in ballots must postmark on or before Election Day.
- Military & Citizens Residing Overseas - ballots postmarked by Election Day and received by August 26.
GENERAL
- November 8, 2022.

- October 9, 2022 - Deadline to register to vote online or postmarked by this day for mail delivery.
Ballot Request Deadlines:
- October 29, 2022 - Final day to request and return a completed absentee ballot.
Ballot Return Deadlines:
- November 8, 2022 - Absentee ballots must be received in person or postmarked by Election Day.
- Military & Citizens Residing Overseas - ballots postmarked by Election Day and received by November 23.
Registered voters in Alaska who want to vote by absentee ballot this fall should submit an absentee ballot application to the Alaska Division of Elections as early as possible.
